How do you beat the heat during summer’s hottest months? Here in Rocklin, CA, the temperatures have been regularly coming in HOT…over 100 degrees on most days. Thankfully, we have our pool to splash around in and stay cool. We also have a number of fabulous lakes and rivers just a short distance away that make for a fun family picnic day out.
You can also have an impromptu picnic in your own backyard! Summer evenings are a perfect time to slice up some fruit, create a meat and cheese charcuterie board, and uncork a nice bottle of sparkling wine. Grab a picnic basket and a blanket and invite your family to enjoy time outside when the temps have cooled down a bit.
